This is a great very high-level oil paint, manufactured in new Berlin. New York is a part subsidiary of golden which manufactures the worlds. Best acrylic paint. These particular oils in Williamsberg paints are tremendous. I have utilize oil paints worldwide, and so far with Williamsberg's oil they have created my very best work. That really Hass to be your criteria whenever You let's say go from a different product to a new product in this case of Williamsberg Oils for me as a new oil pigment and then therefore I don't necessarily pay attention to the marketing you know the corporate structure is always going to sell you the farm if you know what I mean you have to do the work on a very high, advanced level and assess clearly for yourself. If that really is your voice as an artist, did you accomplish and thoroughly enjoy every aspect of that material and the end result the finished oil painting what did you think if you can truthfully say, this was my very best as a pretty fair indication you might want to consider , go ahead and continue with that oil pigment. None of the manufactures make low quality material not really however, every oil paint manufacture has their own to do and they're not mutually the same they're exclusive and they're different so the only way truthfully you can ever evaluate brand a brand B versus brand C is to do the work yourself buy some colors that will give you the ability maybe even with a limited pallet to make a world-class oil painting before you fill out And spend all of that money try to determine and at that point if things are pretty good, you will know based on your own personal criteria not what somebody else says. I wish you the very best in your new experience and what my title says don't fear change and although you may have been using brand B for 20 years, there is a certain high degree of loyalty I'm sure is it normal humanly speaking but you may not be making your very highest level painting and the only way you'll know that is to go out and search and then follow the guidelines. I have presented in my review here and you'll be OK you'll know either yay or nay, when you're done , and if it's yay you keep going with the new material and you can apply it to any other material in your art creation. Have a great day. Thanks Jimmy Springett wildlife painter.
