I really like roses so I bought this product, expecting some real rose scent. After receiving the product, I opened the lid and instantly smelled an extremely strong smell of alcohol. I've used a lot of rose oils, and although there are different smells between the different brands, most of them are in a reasonable range, such as sweeter or greener. This is the first time I've ever smelled rose oil with such a strong alcoholic smell. It is so alcoholic that the whole bottle of essential oil gives off a red wine smell, which makes it impossible for me to smell any roses scent at all. I added it and water to my diffuser, it still smells like alcohol (or red wine) even after dilution. I usually sit next to the diffuser for whole days. I don't drink, so the smell made me feel uncomfortable. Then I contacted the vendor and he sent me a replacement immediately. (Thanks for that!) But unfortunately, although the alcohol smell of the replacement is weaker than the original bottle, it is still noticeable. I tried many times, trying to vary the amount of essential oil added into the water, but finally I have to admit that it really only gives off all the smell of alcohol, not even a hint of flower. It doesn't smell like roses at all. It gave off a sour smell. Some might like this berry-like scent, but at least I can't stand it. If this is not the correct smell which this product should have, then I think the two bottles should have gone bad. If it is, I suggest buyers think carefully about whether they like roses with a sour red wine scent before purchasing.Even after I cleaned it, my diffuser still smelled of alcohol, which interfered with my subsequent use of other essential oils. I cleaned my diffuser several times but the alcohol smell still lingered (I'd still call it red wine scent objectively, because at least it wasn't as pungent after cleaning). None of the oils I used before had any residual scent after cleaning. In addition, the water stain with this oil on the diffuser cannot be washed away with water or soap. I tried a lot of ways (including alcohol, vinegar, etc.) and the spots was still there. And when I turned the diffuser on again after regular cleaning, I found that it was damaged. I swear I was so careful not to wet the electronics on the bottom. But anyway, it doesn't work and now I have to buy a new one.In a short, it took me a week and I even didn't get the oil with normal rose scent I wanted in the end(Yep all I'm asking for is just any kind of normal smell of roses). On the top of that, my diffuser was damaged, result that I had to spend an extra money to buy it again. I gave extra 1 star to their nice customer service. The vendor responsed in time and offered great after-sale service. Not only did the seller give me a replacement, they helped me get my full refund when I told them the replacement was also bad quality. Such good service at least gives me confidence in the vendor and his business. I may buy their other products in the future again for their perfect customer service. But given that I gained nothing and suffered a lose in this shopping experience, I can only give 2 stars for this order at best.By the way, putting aside the one I received reeked of alcohol, I feel it has a much stronger scent than other rose oils I use. It only takes a few drops to fill the room with smell. So if you prefer a strong overwhelming scent to a delicate fragrance, then this is the right product for you. As well as the reasonable price, the strong smell is also this product's advantage.Works as expected; it is a bit too diluted though so be sure to use a bit more to obtain the same amount of scent from other brandsIt was great I use it to make my house smell good and to keep insects and bugs away as though I use it on myself toI don't know why nobody ever does a side by side comparison like this, but I wish they did. It could have saved me time and money. So here I am doing a side by side comparison of Oil of Youth Myrrh Essential Oil Vs. Gya Labs Myrrh Essential Oil. Both purchased here on amazon.(photo attached)On the left we have the big 4oz bottle from Oil of Youth and the transparent drops. Price tag: $12.99On the right we have the tiny 0.34oz bottle from Gya Labs and you can see the brown drops. Price tag: $14.99Color isn't everything they could just add dust to the mixture so here is the rundown: ?In a diffuser I need 20 drops to get a mediocre aroma from the Oil of Youths Myrrh. The scent is still incomplete despite using 20 drops and parts of the smell never manifest and what does hit the air vanishes just as quickly.Gya Labs takes 1 drop and it's super potent. Maybe too potent for some. The depth and dimension is much greater from the Gya Labs and there are parts of the scent that you simple cannot experience with the lower quality Oil of Youths Myrrh. My experience going into this was, I had never really had Myrrh before and didn't know what to expect. I started with Oil of Youths and was really disappointed because I couldn't smell anything and wasn't really sure what I was smelling. Gya Labs really brings out the scent, I recognized it as "Old Church" smell. (I had smelled it before when I was a kid.) I didn't even recognize the scent until I tried Gya Labs.Topically the Gya Labs stands head and shoulder above the Oil of Youths. The scent has so much more depth and is fuller. It's consistency is thicker and I feel like it's much more potent on my skin. I used a carrier oil of coconut oil. I imagine putting it directly on your skin could be damaging because of it's extreme potency. The Oil of Youths is by comparison watered down and prediluted with a carrier oil. That's how it seems, it could just be very low quality myrrh. ?‍♂️ I still dilute the Oil of Youths for safety but much less so.I used 20-30 drops of the Oil of Youth Myrrh in a foot soak and it did leave my skin feeling fresh and almost minty, so there is something to it.So why did I still give this a 2.5-3 ⭐ rating? The answer is simple: money and quantity and what do you intent to use it for? This bottle still has uses, maybe you don't need something super potent, maybe you need quantity more than quality. It's perfect for you.I will personally be using this in foot soaks, adding it to baths, and topically. I might even use it for oil pulling because it's lighter and I have more of it. (1 drop of this with 1 Tbsp of coconut oil!)If the aroma had the level of dimensions that Gya has I would easily give this 5 ⭐'s. It's difficult to explain in words but the Gya Labs version has depth and levels that this one barely scratch upon.To me, the fragrance wasn't that great unless you put 5-6 droppers full in a small diffuser. Maybe if using for something else, it might be better fragrance, but not sure. I just use essential oils in my diffusers. This is my 2nd time ordering this productI bought it to add to candle making.Good smell and vakue
