In an effort to eliminate plastics from my home, I'm buying bars instead of bottles in the bathroom. I liked Foamie's novel idea of creating bars that are easier to hold onto, but the body soap just melted away too fast. It was nothing special so I'll probably keep looking.The product has a nice scent and does lather really well. My skin felt nice after a shower. The rope is convenient for hanging so it dries out between uses. However, the rope also causes it to become very weak in the center and break up after just a few uses. Also for the price, I would not purchase again because it only lasted about a week and a half. That is far from cost effective and although I am committed to ditching the plastic, I can certainly purchase other body bars that I like for half the cost that last three times as long.Suds up quickly, nice scentI really didn't have any likes except that it's supposed to be more eco friendly. I've been using ethique and wanted to try an alternative. This isn't it.The bar really didn't last long, the massage knobs were gone within a week of daily quick showers.I found the scent overwhelming, very chemical/perfume. Everything in the Shipping box also smelled like it. Apparently I got a rash from it on my face, my cheeks started feeling rough and I noticed it looked like a million tiny blisters. 2 days with my normal soap again and my skin was fine again. I do have sensitive skin as well as a heightened sense of smellLiked....fragranceDisliked...not good to be on a rope, melted to mush too fastThe price for the bar is not acceptable, really high price. The bar keeps your skin moisturize.Love this soap as it is the only one my skin likes. I've tried a few others now and none compare really. It's more like a shower cream and you don't get that right rubbery feeling after you wash it off. The scent is beautiful and fresh (coconut).The big problem is it doesn't last long - I've found about 2.5 weeks showering every day. My husband and daughter use Dove shower cream bottle and that lasts then forever!As much as I want to ditch the plastic, this isn't cost effective at £5 odd for a bar.Likes:. The scent, recyclable packaging, how well it foams.Dislikes: the price, this lasted less than 2 weeks for me, (I shower everyday). It states that every bar saves 2 plastic bottles, but this is highly misleading as I can get almost a month out of one 500ml plastic shower gel.The string is a great idea, but it actually means that the soap breaks in half once it gets to thin so you can't hang it up anymore anyway, which then results in even more wastage when using the product.I've used the shampoo bars and they're one of my favorites, I really wanted to like this product, but feel like it isn't really value for money which would mean I wouldn't buy it again.These bars are a great alternative to liquid soap and the Coconut & Cacao Butter smells and feels amazing on the skin. They lather incredibly well. Unfortunately like many other reviewers I have found these last around 2 weeks or less with once-daily showering. Combined with the high price per item they are a luxury. If they lasted longer or were cheaper, I would switch completely.Was given one as a present and wondered if they would be any good. What a brilliant little bar....foams up beautifully and leaves my skin soft and smelling delightful. Lasts for a while too.I have psoriasis and have found this soap to be perfect. Lovely scent and my skin doesn't get all itchy and sore with it.Will be a regular buyer now
