Would i buy this myself? No.On the good side, it smells great and does a great job. Its got a unique manly and clean smell. I actually love the scent.The cons, its super expensive! Why? Its not magical, my cheap dove brand has all the same benefits and also smells great for much less. Also it does not lather well. You need to use a lot to get a clean head. Which means more money.So this is probably the most expensive shampoo I've ever tried. I'm deciding to give it 5 stars for the following. The smell is very unique. It's a good smell, but I've never smelled anything exactly like it. The closest I can describe it is some sort of citrus variant/hybrid. It's definitely a clean smell. I like that nothing else I've ever encountered has this scent. I am a big fan of the multi-use washes. Some work, some don't. I am satisfied with using this on hair and body. It does leave me feeling clean - hair stays soft all day, and hair and skin do have a lasting clean feel. And probably the best endorsement, is my very discerning gf when it comes to stuff like this tried it out on her hair, and she was surprised how well it cleaned, and left her hair soft. She liked using it as a first wash, then doing a second wash with one of her girl shampoos.We both noticed independently that this did not lather well. I am going to assume that's by design, and an outcome of ingredient choice. I've been conditioned to equate lathering to quality cleaning. I'm being open that this may not have to be the case, and am sticking with the 5 stars.First of all, the price for this shampoo is way too high. It's ridiculous to the point of laughter. (Keep in mind that I am reviewing a free sample.) Second, the product is a clear, thin shampoo that barely lathers with the amount in one pump, which is about the size of two quarters. And third, the scent of this shampoo, while not terrible, reminds me of fast food restaurant bathroom soap. Luckily, the scent doesn't linger in my husband's hair.The shampoo cleans okay, but for the price, it is definitely not worth it.
